As a small digital bookkeeping practice, our direct environmental impact is limited, however, we remain committed to reducing resource use and supporting sustainable business practices.

How We Work Sustainably - Digital first bookkeeping

We use cloud accounting software such as Xero to reduce paper usage and improve efficiency.

Paper reduction - We minimise paper use by:

  • Keeping digital records

  • Sending invoices and reports electronically

  • Avoiding printing wherever possible

Energy efficiency - As a remote practice, we:

  • Use energy efficient devices

  • Reduce unnecessary energy consumption

  • Minimise travel through online working

Carbon Offsetting - Planting Trees:

As a small contribution towards offsetting our carbon footprint, we plant trees to help absorb the CO₂ associated with our business activities. While we recognise that tree planting is not a substitute for reducing emissions, we see it as a meaningful step alongside our wider efforts to minimise our environmental impact.

We do this by:

  • Planting trees on a regular basis to offset our carbon emissions.

  • Partnering with a reputable tree planting organisation (Tree-Nation), to ensure trees are planted and maintained responsibly.

  • Tracking our tree planting activity as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous environmental improvement.

We believe that every small action counts, and planting trees is our way of giving something back to the planet while we continue to work towards a more sustainable future.
